Name of flags : Angel Wings - Psalms 91 (double layer silk flags)
The inspiration for the original white Angel Wings is Psalms 91.
The bible talks of instances when God sends fire to consume offerings and sacrifices. The fire in the temple that burned continually was also supernaturally lit by God and kept continually lit by the priests. On the day of pentecost, what seems like tongues of fire was on the heads of each disciple. I have often wondered what does this holy fire looked like. We tend to think of fire as orangy, but a pure flame burns blue. I imagined the fire of God which is pure and holy would be a bluish flame that consumes.
The orange flame represents the fire within us that burns with passion, the blue represents the fire from God that consumes!
Acts 2:2-4
When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
